Is there a way to use only WiFi for internet / OVI store / Community connections always? And Never use GPRS / EDGE at all?
(i.e) Is ther a way to disable GPRS and EDGE without affecting WiFi in Nokia C3-00?
Im managing to access the internet on mine using wifi & I dont have the sim card in! ( I cant do a lot else witth this phone yet tho!)
It did take me while to work out that wlan means wifi tho! LOL!
I do not have any option called as "Destination" in Connectivity settings.
Is this available on a newer firmware of something like that?
ng85.. Your solution seemed to work partially.
However, After adding new accesspoint (dummy) and activating them, I cannot activate the dummy accesspoint that I created as it does not show up at all.
I deleted my default config setting "Idea" from the default config setting though. I just need to try now to access internet only thru wifi and check that GPRS/ EDGE is not getting used at all.
I am very very very very thank you . I bought yesterday c3. When i was using ovi store. I connected wlan. But my carrier was giving me message about balance. I was so frustrated and couldn't find any solution. I did add Access point and My web. But didn't activate in all applications.
Thank you very much for clear soluition.

please tell me how to use only wifi in c3-00 not any gprs pack.
Try the following steps:
You can set the WLAN or Wi-Fi to the highest priority so it will not connect to GPRS. To do this, go to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > WLAN > Saved WLANs > Select which WLAN that you want to connect > Options > Organise priority.
Once done, set the packet data connection to when needed. This settings will establish a packet data connection when needed by an application. The connection is closed when the application is closed. You can set that by going to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Packet data > Packet data connection > When needed.
Hope this helps.

ng85s answer is the correct one and a solution for a Series 40 phone like the Nokia C3-00. Some here got confused with a Nokia C6-00 which is a Symbian phone and has this Destination stuff.
However, the provided solution has one drawback: If your network operator uses the APN ‘internet’, your Nokia C3-00 is still going to connect. You can change that, open the access point and instead of ‘internet’ you enter something stupid. Nevertheless, this appraoch is not totally safe for all network operators either, because some accept all APNs (use a wildcard). In such a case, you have to ask your operator to turn of packet data – this kills MMS as well.
How can i activate default as u say "now select each of them and activate them as default".
In Nokia Series 40 » Menu » Settings » Configuration » Personal » do not open but highlight one of these two accounts » Options » Activate. Do the same for the other account. Another way is to go for Nokia Series 40 » Menu » Settings » Configuration » Default » Personal. Did that help?

Did you switch SIMs? Have a look again at Menu » Settings » Configuration. Nokia loads the default configuration, when it detects a new SIM, and inserting a new SIM and then the old SIM again, is a like two new SIM for Series 40. Was that the cause?
i didnt switch sim
Is the configuration still the way you made it?
when i m running [Viber],it says "application access set to not allowed"
Does this help? If not, and because this is a new and complete different issue, please, create a new thread for this.
