nokia lumina 800. wifi issues

My Samsung galaxy ace has been replaced by this Nokia. I also have a galaxy tab 10.1 which I would connect to my ace through WiFi. I'm wondering if this Nokia is compatible with my tablet as I can't seem to pick up WiFi for either device. In an advanced search I need a network name. Wot is this? I'm with Optus and data network is active. Any help would be great :smileyhappy:

In advanced search, you can only access networks that use a hidden Service Set Identifier (SSID). If you know the correct SSID, and have created a Wi-Fi Internet access point for the network on your device.

To isolate the issue, try other Wi-Fi connection to see if your phone can connect to it. In case that the issue still persists, try updating the software. You can also see here the latest software versions.

Hope this helps. :smileyhappy:
