i hve the asha 300 in the past two weeks and i "DOES NOT" have an option to ask for internet setting but only mms and error settings response options. i changed it hoping only one iterm had a problem. the new one also had the same problem.
i have been up and down both for vodacom support and nokia support, still the problem is not resolved. Does any one know what should i do as to receive internet settings for this phone as it is said to buy a phone for a special purpose and the phone ends up not meeting the expectations.

First you need to get a Data plan activated thru' your Operator. Then request them to send access Points settings. Normally these are sent thru' an SMS. When you receive the message..open and select SAVE. You should be able to use Internet now ...
Ask your Operator to send the settings for any asha series Phone if they don't have it specifically for your device. Then try if these work ...
....or search your Operator's Website for the settings..and check if you have the following in your phone.. Menu-->Settings-->Configuration-->Personal Config. settings..and if you have that ADD the settings there..
