I accidentaly dropped my C7-00 and now the display is in 3 pieces.
The glass on top of the display has no scratches on it, excellent glass I would say.

But thats not the case.
The case is that is there a way to do a backup of the phone since the display remains black?

I can't enter the pin code since I can't see the numbers and ok button.

Any ideas?

well the ok button is down the bottom left
if you maybe knew another person with same phone you could perhaps have them side by side.
or call into a shop and try the same

Maybe you could make use of the TV-out if your phone display is broken.

oh damn forgot about the touchscreen.. oops was getting confused with my old N95

I draw marker lines with a marker pen to mimic number display and managed to punch in the pin.
I had another C7 on the side helping the process.

Now its up and running.
I did the backup via Ovi Suite and the next thing I'm going to try is to reset the phone before sending it to repair.
TV out would help a lot while browsing the menus.
