I am having the following issue with my phone Nokia C6-01.
When I try to browse internet in Nokia default browser & if it’s a big page, half the progress bar loads or ¾ th it loads and after that it will be a standstill & connection manager shows Data received say 235KB, Status – Inactive, Speed – 0, & duration keeps on counting. No error message is displayed. To continue browsing I need to restart browser/Switch to Offline mode & back to general/Restart the phone to solve the problem.
Sometimes when I try to start browsing an error message is displayed “CONNECTION FAILED, CONNCTION UNAVAILABLE”, even if mobile data is ON. To start browsing I need to restart browser/Switch to Offline mode & back to general or other profile/Restart the phone to solve the problem.
I have submitted the device for the above problems on Feb 4th ,2013 with Nokia Care. After 2 hours of submission of my device, I got call from Nokia stating that my device is having network issue & they are sending it to head office.
On Feb 14th they returned me the phone. When I used the phone for few days, I came to know to know that none of the issues were solved.
I asked them to provide the details regarding the work done on my phone. Nokia care told me they don’t know what is done, since everything is done at head office & told me only the word ok is written in my job sheet & they asked me to submit the device again.
Again I submitted the device on feb 19th with Nokia Care & on Feb 25th Nokia again confirmed that the phone is still having network issues & they are sending it to head office.
I received back my device on March 11th at 5 PM.
By 11 PM, i.e, within 7 hours of using my phone, it began to show same issues which I have reported & upon contacting Nokia to know what work is done in my phone. Now they are saying only the word REPAIRED is written in job sheet & don’t know anything else.
They are asking me to submit the device again with Nokia.
But I haven’t submitted the device again because I have lost all faith in Nokia. I have suffered without a good phone for all these 30 days and Nokia again asking me to submit device again for the 3rd time.
WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW NOKIA ?
