Hai,

I installed 'Finger Print' utility from OVI store in my C-7. Now I wish to uninstall the same. Will any one advise me on  how to uninstall/remove it , please.

go to Settings > Application Manager > Installed apps. > locate the program you want to uninstall > Tap & hold that program, select uninstall ...

Or else, go to Menu-> Options->Organize. You will see all icons covered with grey coloured squares. Navigate to the icon of the app you want to delete, (there is an up arrow to navigate the menu tree). Press and hold, a pop up menu will come with options "Move to folder" and "Delete". Select delete. I find this easier as the application manager does not have to read the details of all the 300 apps that i have installed

296 it shows at application manager to my N8 (untill now date-later are going to be installed some more) and there is not inluded some others like phone book,notes,quick office,clock etc that does not showing in there

phone i can tell is very little slowed but not noticable,is fine for me,

operates quiet good since one update for performace issued just before the 1.2

i was having same problem of uninstalling an application named "india today".
i have tackled this problem with updating the software "india today" and then tried to remove it manually with the phone. and i got success on removing the application.
try my method and then tell me

Any apps that cant be removed are built in with the firmware and cant be deleted.
