C7-00 internal memory access issue

While charging with USB, the internal memory folders have been changed ".link" files and hence can not access the memory in any way. How to overcome it with out reformatting it?

hi mate,

is this behaviour only exhibited while you are charging via USB, then when you take the USB cable out, it returns to normal? if so, this is normal behaviour because quite simply the computer is accessing the internal memory of the device. i am referring to the C: drive, not the internal memory which is E:, or external memory card, F:.

Re: C7-00 internal memory access issue

Hi,

its not even after detaching USB cable. I am not able to view the photos which are there in the E drive. If i go thorugh the 'Files' tab, all folders are chnaged to .lnk files and its saying not readable.

Br,

Re: C7-00 internal memory access issue

sounds like there may be a problem with the memory of E: drive, have you checked via Nokia Suite that you have the latest firmware update installed on your device? if there are any updates offered, please update to the latest version offered.
