my C7 wont allow social app to connect, non of the nokia apps seem to work? like check in on maps! please advise

Welcome to the Nokia forum!
A software update should fix this issue straight away.
Make sure you make a back up with Nokia Suite first and don't tick the Settings box as this will backup the bug that's causing this. Once you've made the backup, click on the green arrow in Nokia Suite and update or reinstall the current software.
After you've done the above, place the backup back onto your phone and then it should work perfectly.
If the above hasn't worked, take a another backup and enter *#7370# into your phone and default security code 12345, unless you've changed this code yourself. Place the backup back and then this should definitely fix the issue.

Is this really helps? I have the same problems, including Accuweather and several other applications. These apps won't connect to the internet altough internet works fine with Opera, for example.

I have tried all the steps and it still does not work.

Can you please post how a Mac user without Nokia Suite installed on (my) computer can back up? Having a problem, too with Social app, as with Weather, etc. not launching. Thank you.
