Please help me with this
I got a new nokia c3-01
i m trying to connect to internet via Wifi
First i searched for the available connections n connected to Wifi of ma home router
its says Connection successful ...And wen i open my opera mini it says failed to connect ,,check your network settings ...

Please help me do i have to change any other settings in order to access internet thru my wifi..

If u want connection only via wifi & not via network then delete all the network configuration settings on ur phone. Also add ur home wifi to saved networks & then connect.

Please check these settings for the applications:

Select Menu > Settings > Configuration >Personal settings  > Add new > Access Point > Write the name of the WLAN access point you wish to connect

Select Menu > Settings and Configuration > Preferred access point — View the saved access points and choose the preferred WLAN access point.

Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > WLAN > Internet Connection :Ask first
you are asked for the connection method every time you open an application that requires an Internet connection such as Browser or Mail.

wifi is connected with home network but its not working and amount is being deducted .plz help

Is there any error message? Have you tried the troubleshooting steps suggested above? If yes and the issue is still the same, you can try the following steps:

1. Restore factory settings:

End all calls and connections.
Select Menu > Settings and Rest. fact. sett. > Settings only .
Enter the security code. The default code is 12345 unless you have changed it.

2. Check for available updates. If there is none, you can reinstall using the Nokia Suite.
