Nokia C3 push mail communication error

I recently got a new Nokia C3-00 mobile with Vodafone (India) network.

When I started trying to activate my Gmail account in push mail option, its showing 'communication error'. My GPRS is activated (vodafone live) and i'm able to browse net. The interesting part is that I'm even able to open IM through phone but not this push mail.

Why this happening ?

 

I read some of forums discussions, one of it said that to delete all gprs settings and restore to factory conditions then insert Tata Docomo sim and open push mail and then again insert your actual sim to really use it. But this is not working for me.

I got to know from nokia care execute that there is some problem in nokia messaging server since last 1-2 days. Today I called him in afteroon. Try it again after 1-2 days when nokia messaging server is up.

Actually I am trying to do this from long time. Recently when I tried to open my Hotmail Account, I could successfully do it but not the Gmail Account. Why that is happening.

I just didn't activate IMAP. So as soon as I did it, it started working!
