Nokia C3 web browser , can't view image?

Before i would use the in-build web browser on the nokia c3, log in facebook and view images. I could even save these photos

 

but then lately, i can't even view any images anymore. all i see is the white box with the red "x" in it? Even when i try on going to google images, i see the same thing.

 

Help?

Youtube videos not playing on nokia c3 and what should be the appropriate web browser for nokia c3 that can play youtube videos as well.
