Nokia C5-00 problem

A couple of days ago it started to BARELY connect to the internet and now whenever it doesn't manage it, it shows me that I have a certain download waiting. It just pops that one whenever it doesn't connect to the internet and it didn't do that before.

 

I also have a lot of memory taken up on the memory card and I don't really know where that comes from, I barely have any photos or file son it.

 

If you could possibly help me, and give me step by step instructions where need be, I'll be very thankful!

Here are the steps that you can try:

 

1. Clear the cache of your phone. Go to Menu > Internet > Web > Options > Clear privacy data.

2. Reboot your phone.

3. Check the network mode of your phone. Go to Menu > Settings > Phone > Network mode. 

 

Tip: Selecting UMTS enables faster data transfer, but may increase the demand on battery power and reduce the battery life

 

4. Restore the factory settings of the phone. Go to Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings > Settings only. If prompted for a lock code, enter 12345 unless changed. This will not delete any data on your phone.
