when i try to use ebuddy in my nokia c2-03 it gives an error message saying "your internet setting must be activated for java applications". how do i do this? someone please help me....

First you need to select a proper access point setting in configuration option in settings menu of the phone.

Though you select correct access point, this phone has a bug. Applications doesn't connect to the internet. We are waiting for a firmware release. I don't know how long will they take for that but need it ASAP since without proper GPRS connectivity, this phone is useless.

I m having the same problem. there is no way to use opera in c2-03. The phone hangs up when i try to open mail or chat program in message section.

Further, there is no map in menu section. how to enable map?

i can't use my internet.. what other internet settings do i need to perform to connect to internet? i doubt to change my phone to other than nokia if this problem really still exist.

pls update ur firmware to 7.48 it has the option to edit ,add and acvt new setting...

Hi guys,
try this.

Make sure that you have selected correct default configuration and correct access point.
After this goto
settings-connectivity-packet data-packet data settings-edit active access point-packet data access point. Here enter the correct access point name and activate it.
Now apps like opera mini and uc browser should work fine.
If you don't know the access point, contact your service provider.

I too have tha same problem. I cant access internet via java apps. Further more there is no mapoption in the menu and the communities and chat also doesn't work.
