HI,

Just upgraded my wifes phone to Belle, everything works fine with the exception that Social 1.5 refuses to connect. I have restored default settings, but still wont connect.

I can use the web, connect to store, asks me if I want the 3G or WiFi connection, but only social refuses to connect. I have removed and re-installed Social. Always the same, Network is not available. Social works fine on my N8 with the same settings

Try performing a soft reset and restore your phone to factory defaults. Then try using social.

both soft and hard reset do not work. both my N8 and wifes c7 on 3.

Just uninstall and check whether any previous versions work in your mobile...

As far I am Aware you can only update New social 1.5 app by ovi suite , I did this last week, not available by ovi store

I think social was available in Nokia store a few days back... Must have removed it. Try Googling for it. You'll find it in other websites.

Its up to Nokia to resolve the issue now... Funny that my social that came with belle works. But I rarely use it.

I am also having the same issue with 'connection failed and connection unavailable' - driving me nuts!  Have also tried doing a soft and a hard reset and nothing!

When I click on Social it says 'Network is not available. Please try again later.' Everything else works tried all advice still not working.

After a week of emailing Nokia support back and forth with none of the solutions working they have advised to me to take my phone to a care point.  Surely there must be some fix that they can issue? 

Just wondering if this problem only happens with phones on the 3 UK network?

Thanks for your feedback. I have not succeeded to repeat this with my Nokia C7 or any Nokia Belle devices using Social 1.5.215.  I have reported the error about the Social connection onwards.

There have been a lot of issues associated with this social app. You are not allowed to share images to your social accounts via the share button in gallery.

did Nokia provided a solution for C7 at three netwrok , the scoial is not working and I have problem with Nationa geographi and accuweather ,

I am getting the same message with scoial  , even when I try a wedgit ( accuweather or national geographiy) ,,, like if the widget is offline ,, previous symabin had the option to online or offline the homescreen , here I can't

My tip to remove the current social and coem back to the old version

yesterday I format the memory and restore the factory setting with and delete data , then it asks me to install 5 updates ,, Microsft and others including scocial

I choose all of them except social update ,, so i was able to maintain  the old social ,,, still it telling me to update to social I refuse now ,, the old version is fine.
