Re: nokia c2-03 memory issue

Hi,
i found a new trick to save memory.dont use any pre-installed apps after factory reset ALL.
For example,i found that when im reset all,ovi store has only 862 kb,but after using that app i found its size becomes changes to 1.3 mb,also maps has also.SO DONT TRY TO USE PRE INSTALLED APPS.
2)download a super file manager(i suggested BluetoothFTP) and browse through that file manager through your phones' memory(it shows 'C'drive) and you can find hidden folder named PREDEFPHOTOS(which cant be see through the external view) and delete it.You can save about 600kb.
Hope that my ideas shall work in your phone also. Thanks

Re: nokia c2-06 memory issue - Solved

[ Edited ]

Nokia C2-03/C2-06 low memory problem, is mainly because the of the OS still retaining the deleted applications which occupies the internal memory.... The nokia service center solve dthis issue by formatting the phone and loading the latest OS i.e, Version 7.48 released 23 Feb 2012.. All the problems, including low memory problem, phone hanging as well low speed / response is completely solved... My phone now has 9.8 MB free user memory.... Thanks to NOKIA CARE (ADYAR, CHENNAI)

Re: nokia c2-03 memory issue

Its might help all of you
1st goto nokia care and flash your mob
then dont use any pre-installed app.
2nd Never change your theme because it takes your internal memory i dont know why but it takes. if you have any other nokia phone then try the themes in that phone and apply that theme to your c203. Remember theme used up your memory when you try it. So before applying make a final decision.
3rd format your card by using a case reader.
If you had installed any app in phone memory than foot delete it move it memory card by long press on the app.

Please follow my steps to get free memory in your mobile so that you can use your media players and many other apps.

  • First of all take your mobile to your nearest NOKIA CARE CENTRE and tell them to flash your mobile.
  • After this you will get 13MB of user available memory (believe i had gone for it).
  • Don't use any apps, which were preinstalled in your phone like communities, nokia browser, maps, etc As these apps size increases after there use and you also cant delete them as they are copyright protected therefore a better solution is to not to use them. YOU CAN USE STORE APPS AND FURTHER CAN INSTALL ANY OTHER APPS BUT INSTALL IN YOUR MEMORY CARD FOR SURFING USE UCBROWSER.
  • Never save any data in your internal memory of the phone as it occupy your space. Delete the ringtones, wallpapers from your phone memory not from memory card.
  • Move all removable apps from your phone memory to memory card.
  • Never change your theme. As your c2-03 phone saves your theme setting for further use due to which   your memory get full, It is the most dangerous way of filling your free space as you will be not able to delete these setting files in future and due to which your memory will got wasted. A soolution to this was to use themes  of very less size. I had created some themes to use with C2-03. You can get that themes HERE:
    http://c203forum.blogspot.in/p/blog-page.html
  • Regular delete your messages and move all your contacts to Sim card.
  • You can also delete your inbuilt apps and gallery object from your phone by using MOBILE MB russian version 3.6.

Now you will not face more memory low problem. You will always get more than 10MB of free memory in your mobile.

Request To NOKIA,

My Previous post in this column had been deleted due to some reason(s). So, please i request that if there will be any problem in this post. Then please modify it, don't delete.

Regards-

Shashi

Re: nokia c2-03 memory issue

Hi all! Am new here, well after months and months of trying to resolve my nokia c2-03, I finally did! Now I have 15mb free memory. I deleted most of the applications and ringtones and downloaded new tones and applications and stored them in my memory card. I followed this guys instuctions (http://achintya-only.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/nokia-c2-03-all-low-phone-memory.html). well he failed to explain how he did it, but you have to download the russian version of mobimb, install it ( make sure you turn of your antivirus cos it will detect it as a virus) after installation, you simply run the application. ( it's all in russian so you will see '??????'). So you simply click next and install. then run. Well after running the application, you connect your phone to the PC. In order for the phone to be able to communicate with the Pc, you need Nokia PC suite or Nokia Ovi suite, both would be fine. When connecting your phone to the pc, you select, "PC or ovi suite" on the phone. Then you can be able to deleted anything you want on the phone. thanks. Anyone still confuse to do so, can email me.
