I just reset the settings of my phone thinking there could've been a virus or something but I can't delete several messages that appears but got no info at all. I can't read it neither delete it. Help me pls.... Thanks!

Welcome to the Nokia Discussion Boards and thanks for posting.

A settings reset will not touch personal data like messages. You will need to perform a hard reset for that;

• Do a backup using Nokia Suite (Tools>backup). When asked deselect the option to include settings in the backup.
• Disconnect the C3 and do a hard reset on the C3 by entering the code *#7370# followed by the security code which by default is 12345.
• After the reset reconnect the phone to Nokia Suite then check for and install system software updates or reinstall the most recent version.
• When finished restore the backup and recreate your settings

hi, that's actually what i did first. and i thought it would fix the problem. ive been trying to update the software as well but it didn't do anything. i still cannot delete those messages

If a hard reset does not resolve this you can have the C3 flashed at a Nokia Care Point.

Make sure you have a backup of your personal data as this will wipe your device completely.
