I have bought nokia c5-00 tonight.. With 7750 INR  and

1.transfered some music and picture from my old nokia 5300 to this phone..

2.applied slide-show wallpaper with 5 image..

3. Deleted all transferred files(image and music) from message after save them to memory card

but problem it shows

1.phone memory in use 47 mb

2.free memory(phone) 21mb

3.calender 411b

4.contacts 23kb

5.message 24mb

6.images 0b

7.sound clips 0b

8. Video clips 0b

9.documents 17kb

10. MIDP apps 2158kb

11.SIS apps 459kb

12. Other files 20mb

my question is :

in device specification nokia says that   in nokia c5-00  there is :

Maximum User Storage 50 MB

NAND Memory 256 MB

SDRAM Memory 128 MB

so what is the explanation of the above mentioned memory usage of my phone... pls explain it.. I can't find any usage by the user.. That is me   and what is the best way to remove this temp files or cache?? From phone memory?

hey i got the same problem and i was also fed up with doing all such things. But one day i deleted all the syncronised emails of my mail box and the phone memory enhanced to 32 mb. Which is really helpful for me as the working speed of browser and other apps also increased and i'm happy with my phone now.
And yes for further better performance and less memory issues install the application named 'swiss manager pro' its freely available on the internet.

iam a chronic Nokia user..
Nokia C5.00 with 2mp camera has
some problems..
Solution is-
install a 3rd party file manager like-
Netqin or Xplore free versn. Try to clear all the cache frm
browsers, web feeds.
Clean up internal storage.
Google map eat a lot of memory,so-
open Google map and go to option-
setting-reset map. It dosnt delete the starred item just
clean up the cache..
Try no to use mailbox in this phone..
If u want to use it then just delete the
mail box each time after usage.
It will help u..
