Hi Folks,

I have a couple of strange problems.

a) Some time after deleting a contact , it returns!

b) Some time after deleting a specific number (but retaining the contact) it returns.

Phone is an E6-00 running Belle.

Default is phone memory.

Any ideas folks.

In order to fix this issue, I advise you to perform a soft reset on your phone: type *#7780#. Default lock code is 12345. If the issue persists, perform a hard reset. First of all, back up your data using Nokia Suite (Tools > Back up). Once your data is fully backed up,  type *#7370# on the keypad. 

Alternatively, you may also check for updates on Nokia Suite (by going to Tools > Updates).

Also, do you regularly sync your data with Nokia Suite?

Hi kenonly,

If these contacts are also saved on your Exchange account under the contacts section, they will be synced back everytime you refresh your Inbox for new emails. Make sure that contacts deleted from your phone are deleted from any configured Exchange account as well so that deleted contacts won't magically reappear.
