@Lysin: If you bought it second hand and it has content on it, the first thing I would do is to clean everything up by doing a soft reset and formatting the memory card. This will delete everything that he has installed. It will also delete whatever you've installed after getting the phone.
If there's something you want to keep, make a back up first.
Doing a soft reset and a format of the memory card should make your device as brand new.
If the phone is originally branded and there was installed applications on it from the provider etc, this will also much likely be deleted. But as it is second hand, I guess that won't be a big deal if it is installed any bloatware on it.
