My Nokia E7 is over a year old and I recently had my screen changed after it broke, and it worked perfectly. After about 2 days my phone froze, nothing worked (which it has done before), not even the off botton which I held for more than 30 seconds.
So I just did as I had the other times: I waited for the battery to run out. Charged it. And tried to turn it on.
The problem this time though, is that the screen just continues to stay black. The screen doesn't turn on. I can feel the vibrations when I turn it off (which I can do now) and on. There is light in the botton on my phone, which shows me that it's turned on, and there is light on when I am charging it (though only when it is turned off).
But I can't get the screen to work no matter how many times I try to turn the phone on and off!
- Can the problem be that the didn't attach the new screen firmly enough? And something might have knocked it loose?
- Or that I am on vacation in another country, and the adaptor might have "burned" something off while charging?
- Or can it be something else?
Please help, since I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that might be easy to fix!

As adrianhughes points out perhaps the screen connector ribbon has become detached after opening and closing keyboad a few times since repair; you don't mention whether repaired by Nokia Care facility with OEM parts.
If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white kudos star would always be appreciated.
