E71. Can't change language! HELP!

I want to change the keyboard language. In the settings it says English, still when i press SHIFT and "i" ,for example, instead of a "+" i get this "ö" and I can't change it from settings. The worst part is that I don't have "?" anymore on the keyboard and it's pretty annoing. What can I do?

The device key pad and phone software are not in proper relation. Might have suggested that you backup essential data and try option to re-install existing device software in Nokia Suite > Options > Software updates. However bear in mind if say Arabic language pack has been installed at later date, that device could revert to original specification as determined by it's seven digit product code when re-installing device software.

I updated to the latest version of software earlier, still the same problem. I don't get what you're saying with the 7 digit number. Thanks for trying to help!

Have you just recently acquired this pre-owned E71 or have you had it since new, as I suspect that someone has electonically altered the seven digit product code at some stage to introduce this mismatch? Your only solution may now be to take device to a Nokia Care facility http://nokia.com/support, whom can correct this issue.
