E71 ringtones are missing

I was about to change my default ringtone, and discovered that the only options were "Off" and "Download sounds".

However, if I remove the memory card, all the ringtones are available again. If I put the card back in, they're gone again !

What's wrong ?

BTW, by default in what folder are ringtones stored ? I couldn't find them...

Seems ur card is corrupted, Run a Disk check on card connecting it in "mass Storage" .

If that doesn't solves ur problem, Backup ur data MANUALLY from card and format it,
Don't restore ur back up yet and disconnect phone and see if everything is working fine. if so connect again and restore ur data.

I've searched other posts and it seems there's a bug in my firmware and if you have too many mp3's (I had close to 200), the software gets confused and doesn't display any sounds / tones. I deleted most of them and the tones "reappeared".
I wonder if the most recent SW solves this ? Mine was never upgraded and is one of the earliests (July 2008 I think).
