E71 update error:12071

Hi,

 

I tried to update my E71, first on the platform of Nokia Ovi Suite and later on Nokia Suite, but I always got the error:12071 when the progress went to install software stage. Does everyone know what is going wrong? I did the update following the steps.

 

I saw some other people have also ever met this problem. Nokia Software Updater was suggested as a solution. However, this part should have been included in the Nokia Suite already (correct me if I am wrong as I cannot find this package on Nokia website). Help required.

Unfortunately this error is likely to be replicated and probably quicker to find another PC.

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!
