I've been struggling with a minor problem which I hope is fairly simple to fix:
I have setup and used a SIP profile through the advanced VOIP settings etc.
However once a net call is made, the profile registers with the ITSP, but then stays linked whilst the E72 is within range of one of the WiFi access points.
Is there any way of manually disabling the profile so it disconnects from SIP until another call is started? I haven't found anything in the information so far.
Thanks in advance.

This confused me for some time as well as Nokia eliminated the Internet Phone application with FP2. The answer is in the WLAN scanning app on the home screen. Select this app and there are commands to Enable and disable your SIP account. VoIP on the E72 has just been intergrated very will into the firmware and is the best VoIP phone currently on the market.

Hey Guys
i'm also facing similar problem in my E5....moreover i'm not using Wi-Fi and SIP profile is getting connected via Internet APN(Operator) and so affecting the battery a lot other than the Data usage.
Is there any option to disable/enable the SIP Profile as and when i require.
Many Thanks in advance

When the VoIP or SIP service has been activated, the service can be deactivated in the Contacts menu:
Your phone is now deregisters from SIP server and the Wireless LAN connection is disconnected. After the deactivation, the SIP profile can be edited and viewed again.
Hope this helps. ![]()
