E72: managing your system

hey, would like to read here how different users are managing their systems on E72, which apps or tricks are used. There are gazillions of dumb and childish websites and apps around. Can anyone suggest some tools that really do such work as controlling the startup files and closing any unnecessarily running apps etc.?

Re: E72: managing your system

I have three such utilities on my E73:

Mobile Guard: http://www.netqin.com/en/guard/symbian

PhoNetInfo: http://www.patrickfrei.ch/phonetinfo/

JBakTaskMan: http://www.jbak.ru/index_en.php

Mobile Guard contains a number of different applications including a startup manager and a file manager with view-only access to the Symbian protected directories.  PhoNetInfo provides lots of system information, but isn't really interactive.  I often use it to check free ram.  JBakTaskMan can replace the built-in Symbian task manager and has the most detailed list of system information I've seen.  It has always been able to kill a hanging task when the built-in Symbian "force quit" fails.

Hope that helps!
