There is a long thread about this update a few pages back and it seems a lot of people are having issues after updating it.
Could be why no one can now get it.
It looks like they have removed the 300.21.012 from the updater because now when you check it shows that the latest available sw version is the 200.21.118
good. that means now at least they areworking on it...

I'm seeing the same thing too - they pulled the 300.21.012 firmware (I'm using product ID 0569371). I called Nokia Care - absolutely useless. The person on the phone had no clue what I what talking about.
Today, Sep. 15, the Firmware Update Nokia E71 NAM (0569371) 300.21.012 is removed from the Nokia Update Servers. It's back to the old Firmware 200.21.118 ! If you guys have mirror the nokiausa.com website, there is no way to "order / back order" a Nokia E71. It looks like there is a problem with the US devices. Also, the Nokia e71x from AT&T is gone. Now we all have to wait for the next Update releases.
Thank goodness I found this thread. Google rocks. I too get the same error as the OP when I attempt to upgrade my firmware. I actually thought I had screwed up my phone, so I reset it, formatted it, hard reset it, and even tried blowing on it like an old Nintendo cartridge. No go.
PLEASE, Nokia, fix this! You have an awesome phone here! Don't mess up the firmware updates!!! I just want normal looking pictures from this thing and it will be perfect.
The same here, the 300.21.012 popped up again! tried on 2 PCs, the same old result. I have forewall configured for Nokia processes to let them throught, and internet speed around 50MPbs .
Great catch! That's what I kinda suspected... bogus messaging. I'm wondering, doesn't Nokia know about it already? Why they keep ignoring us?
They have excellent devices, but very poor software support. Ovi store is a disaster... Update process is a disaster... Nokia email is not reliable, OS is slow... etc etc ..And in today's world (they didn't learn it yet) good Software support and functionally rich applications (iPhone, BB) beat the better hardware(Nokia) by far!
