Seksi encore, there is a program called OVI pre-installed on the phone. Use it to download all these beautiful apps.

You can delete or switch off all data connections. Check page 145 of the manual (packet-data)

Re: How to download applications such as MSN messenger etc onto Nokia E75?

I installed Nimbuzz instead of the usual MSN Messenger simply because I use Skype and Gchat and some other messaging programs which come in one package.  Check it out on Ovi.

With regards to your WiFi/3G question, depending on what you're using...

For EMAIL, go to: Menu > Email > Settings > *Choose your Email account (i.e. Gmail, etc.) > Mailbox Settings > Advanced mailb. settings (at the bottom) > > For both Incoming and Outgoing, select Access point in Use and choose your WiFi.

To add your WiFi network as an access point and change its priority (if you use multiple access points/WiFi networks) go to: Menu > Control Panel > Settings > Connection > Destinations > Select either Internet or Access Point (to add an access point).  If you select Internet in the previous step, you can change its properties, such as the WLAN security settings, and choose whether to use this access point/WiFi "Automatically" (you'll see it at the bottom).

Hope this helped :smileywink:

This is the link for Windows Messenger: http://symbianv3.com/new-windows-live-messenger-perfect/

I'm not sure if it is in the Ovi Store yet. By the way, on your phone, go to the Download! folder and get Ovi. Once you got it, you can browse all the content you'll ever need. Create an accont at Ovi so you can get specific stuff for you - for the E75. (You can use the account created for Nokia Discussions to access Ovi services, it will be your ID for Ovi Mail as well.) You'll also get a free email with the Ovi account. I think Ovi rocks. Some of the free stuff I got there are: SMS Preview, Tweets60 (Twitter), YouTube, Energy Pro.(-filer), Gomoku (x & o game), Starts with (word game), and some themes. Nimbuzz (IM), Sports Tracker (sports diary with GPS, Google Earth function), etc, - all there.

This link is for Nokia Email. It's currently a free service. You can sync Hotmail/Window, Yahoo, Gmail, Ovi, etc.: https://netac2.vie.hosting.nokia.com/account/home.action   You can get this at the Ovi Store, or they may be a link for it on your phone.

This link is for Nokia Messaging - IM Beta. http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-messaging-chat It will work only on your phone, as well as on the  E71 and E63. For Yahoo!® Messenger, Google Talk and Ovi. Have fun, cheers

I've seen* the iPhone4/4S, iPad2, Moto RAZR and SIII for a few minutes - all very good. Lumia 820 (WP8) is a fantastic piece of work.

Symbian connected me to the world, to my dreams.. RIP, giant.
