Can anyone help me how to lock Nokia E50 remotly by sending a message and explain how it works

All you need to do is to enable the "Allow remote lock" setting (pg. 25 in above manual).

Then you send an SMS to the phone with the message.

Note that it will also automatically set the memory card password to the first 8 characters of the message.

I have recently bought an E51. i have enable the remote lock option and set a remote locking phrase also. but my phone doesn't lock when i send a SMS from another phone. what should be the text of the sms to remote lock. currently i've tried sending only the pass phrase.

please help

when you send an sms to your phone to lock it from another phone the only thing that should be in the text is your lock PIN number (the one you setup when you enabled remote lock)
