Is there anybody does could tell me what is the used of Light Sensor for model E65? Is it blinking while not in used?

It does not blink.

It detects the amount of light and decides if the phones keypad lights need to be on or not while you use it.

It's just to save battery power.

I just noticed that the light on my keyboard is not working. When it is getting darker the lights on the slider are going on but not the ligths on the keyboard. More people having this problem ? Should it be repaired or canit be a software problem ?

Yeah it can be repaired for free under it's 2 year warranty by a Nokia Service Centre.
