Nokia 9300 and wireless keyboard

The Nokia wireless keyboard is supplied with S60 drivers only, making it incompatible with the 9300. The communicator series are supposed to be top of the range equipment so why is there no support for the keyboard? Nokia should support users that purchase their expensive solutions and provide drivers - even if they have to outsource these to third parties like BTKey and BlueType. Quite frankly, if I do not receive a 9300 driver for the keyboard, I'll switch to another brand.

Re: Nokia 9300 and wireless keyboard

yes, as it happens i have just stopped using an 9300i in favour of an e61.

i found the keyboard on the 9300i to be adequate for the needs of such a device.

Re: Nokia 9300 and wireless keyboard

I am in fact using my N 9300 for typing longer texts and understend the need for additional keyboard. Especially since the industry has forgoten about the users as myself, and there is no smaller-than-subnotebook-larger-than-PDA-with-Keyboard devices, such as now obsolete HP Jornada 720 or NEC 900.
But, back to the subject, my advice: practice, practice, practice and you can find typing on N 9300 quite satisfying. And since you apparently don't mind the additional weight, the final answer is go N9500 for it's slightly but significantly bigger keyboard.
