After i enable the automatic phone lock, i am not able to disable the lock

Try using the default lock code "12345" if this does not work you changed the security code...

even after changing to the default lock code 12345 i am unable to disable the phone lock. i know the security code.i dont want it to activate in 20 min. i need to disable it or it should auto lock in 4 hours

Then I don´t know what you mean by "phone lock". Try to be more specific please.

there are two locks on the phone one is the security lock and another is the keypad lock.
security lock or phone lock is the one where we need to enter the security code to use the phone. keypad lock is where we just press the unlock button

there is two locks security lock is one that stops other sim cards been used in the phone the other is the keypad lock can you not access the phone at all and just factory reset it

i have already tried resetting the factory setting. it still does not help

I have the same problem on my 5630 : was forced to introduce a 6 characters long security code when I set up mail for exchange one month ago. now I don't use mail for exchange, I uninstalled it  and I want to disable the security code and it doesn't let me do it. I cannot even change it back to 12345 because it still requires that it should be 6 characters long. did you get this solved on your E66 ?

not even allowing to enter  *#, asking for numeric Numbers only.

i make formatting to my nokia E66 mobile and after formattin this is massage cammoin to me saying insert lock code   but   i cannot insert any symbol to that lock code same like *  or #  please help
