Nokia E66 and skype

I am using Nokia E66. I downloaded "Skype_S60_3_0_v_1_5_0_12.sisx" and installed it into phone memory. I am using a 2G unlimited GPRS data plan. I was able to sign in only the very first time, after that i have never been able to sign into skype. It just shows "Signing in" and then comes back again to login page. How do i resolve this? I tried reinstalling skype and restarting the phone several times but all in vain. Please help me.
