having read some of the write ups on the new e6 i have read that the keyboard wont be soft keys and will just i guess be more like a qwerty touch sensor buttons. I have to say i like my soft keys so dont know know whther to go for a E72. I know i wont get the touch screen but to me speed of e-mail is more important than touch screen, although some of my past phones were the i phone and the Palm pre?
any advice - will it be a qwerty that is touch sensitive rather than soft key?

This will help to answer your concerns regarding the E6 keyboard:
Nokia E6 - readers' questions answered
As an E72 Owner, I would not recommend the E72 over the upcoming E6.
Why?
There are well documented issues with E72.
For example this excellent post:
There are numerous other post's of disappointment, and frustration with E72 here at Nokia Suuport Discussions.
No one doubts the potential of the E72, but time has revealed how infuriating the E72 is to live with.
In my humble opinion the E6 gives hope for E71, and E72 Owners on a replacement handset that the E7 failed to deiver.
Namely higher resolution display, and extended talktime/standby.
There are still questions to be asked about the E6, and how it will deal with issues that plagued the E72.
But the E6 being the newer handset, you can expect support/updates that I expect will now decrease for E72.
As Nokia's track record for support isn't great for older models, just ask our fellow E75 Owners.
Time will reveal all, just like living with the E72 has for me.

I am very tempted to replace my E7 by E6. I'm a big fan of portrait qwerties.

I'd love an E6 - about time they made a qwerty phone with 8GB of built-in memory + support for 32 more. I just recorded 22 minutes of a potential 1 hr 28 minutes, but the E72 won't play back more than 2 minutes, while claiming to have 138 MB free memory, and with 6.8 GB free on my 16GB card.
E7's 16GB max is simply too small if you don't or can't live on the cloud and don't want to invest in an external drive.
Shame about the camera on E6, though, (which is like the one of E7). However much some good folks have been at praising Nokia's choice of "full focus", one of the great things about my E72 is that it takes the best photos within a metre and allows me to scan in text and business cards.
At around the same price as, or even less than, the E72 when it appeared, it's got to be naff not to be fairly good value. Just hope it's STABLE.
Off to reformat my E72 again, again, again....

Well.. New nokia E6 look and sounds good..
Touch and type is good. You can type text on qwertly keyboard, and moving and listing web sites
on screen, which is faster and better
-display is twice better than on e71, and e72.
-it have a Graphics Accelerator
-good thing is an USB OTG which is good. How many times I need to transfer something from
phone to USB flash.
-TV-out gets useful sometimes..
-camera is 8mpix.. But without auto-focus.. Well that's advantage and disadvantage
you can take a fast snap.. Not like on e72 when you need to wait a few seconds to auto focus.
- 256 mb ram( but how much mb is free?? E72 is disappointing only 40 mb free).
- 350mb phone memory, 8gb storage + micro card slot
- lock switch. Easily lock and unlock phone
- great battery life
- symbian anna?
First problem is price. Price of E72 in Germany is 279€, E7-00 is 499€, E6 preorder price is 430€
New symbian anna and web browsing. Does memory low popout appear?
Well I can't wait first better E6 review![]()

This generally happens if you browse alot and dont clear your cache so i imagine it could happen
it has not happened to me yet on my C6-01/C7/N8/E7,as ive got into practice of clearing my cache after every session.

Funny how Nokia and Blackberry seem to be timing the release of such similar handsets, with the Bold 9900 coming soon (and yes, it has a qwerty keyboard *and* portrait touch screen. Very similar form factor).
Would be lovely to see a head-to-head real life comparison between both models, the E6 vs Bold 9900 (when they eventually come out).

I plan on getting one. However if dust collects under the screen I will send it back very shortly after I receive it. I love my e71x but I hate that dust!
