Yesterday I E7 was dead because of low battery. I was in a hurry so I attached it to recharger just for few minutes. The light was flashing differently then the previous times. It was on all the time like it was getting recharged but it was getting stronger time to time. Since I was in a hurry I took it off the recharger and tried to turn it on, it did not start to function. So plugged it back, this time there was no sign of recharging. Now it's been almost 1 day and I can't either turn it on or recharge it. So my E7 is totally dead! Can you please help me with this?

So after trying charging it for a day it still doesn't charge?

Sounds to me that you will have to visit a nokia care point for an inspection as if the device is dead, it's not much we can do here.


What you should try first is to conenct it to charger and let it charge for 10-15 mins before even trying to think of turning it on. I have experienced that a previous Nokia ran out of battery and I charged it for 1-2 minutes and turned it on. Unfortunately it didn't hold enough power to boot completely and then it used up all the power it had got from the 1-2 mins of charge and I tried to turn it on agian experiencing the same issue.

I then let it charge for 15 mins and was good to go.

THis might noe be the case, but I mention it anyway.

If not a Nokia care point is already mentioned.

Remember to keep an eye on the phone if you choose to give my tip a go, but if you have already tried it...

Even though it does seem unlikely.. have you tried another charger?

You could also try to connect it to usb->pc and see if it responds.

This has happened to me three times now. The first two times I was able to get my E7 back to live with long charge time - took like half a day to get it going. Third time was different, my E7 was dead more than 24 hours. Tried 2 different chargers, USB to PC, restarted with hard reset, and all.

The last trick: I placed E7 to a warm place, on top of my radiator, and WAU, it woke up! Really.  Sounds crazy, but it worked. And hey, the device had been in my jacket pocket, it did not have moisture thing or such.

I had the same problem first the software were sucking and then the battery finished and the phone was offline then when i put the charger it charges and when im trying to turn it on the on button don´t work so need support
