e52 keypad suddenly remaps

Hi

 

After a few month happy with my e52 I have encountered a strange issue. A minute or so after I turn the phone on the "2" returns the info of a "4" and the "end call" returns a "1". "#" returns a "6". All other keys are as usual. The phone hasn't been dropped or wet. It was in my pocket when the problem started. The phone has been updated to latest firmware, but it didn't solve the problem.

 

Hope someone can help me

hi mate,

have you tried re-installing the current firmware thru Nokia Suite? if that doesn't work, then you may need to perform a three-finger hard reset as pre-cursor to visit to Nokia Care: http://nokia.com/support Please bear in mind that hard reset wipes all personal data, so please make a backup first.
