I have a new NokiaE71x and want to record a personal voice mail message instead of the auomated robot-like message which is the dafault. s that possible?

Typically you can. This is a function the Voice Mail from your cell phone provider and NOT a function of the phone itself.  You should be asking this in an AT&T forum.

But since you asked..  Dial into your voice mail (typically by holding down the 1 key it should auto dial it).  Then follow the prompts in your voice mail system to record a personal greeting.  I can't tell you what options you need to choose as each voice mail system is different.
