Hello everyone, I'm using n8 belle and the newest nokia maps.

I live in Croatia and sometimes I travel to Bosnia. Bosnian maps were very poor until recently but now I have a problem where I cannot plan a route from Croatia to Bosnia

routing in Croatia works nicely and also between e.g. Croatia and Slovenia

also, I can route normally in Bosnia. However if a plan a route, or just use drive to between two points, map app can't find the route that would normally go over the state line.

I've tried reinstalling the map app and deleting and downloading maps but no luck.

just to mention that the maps of Bosnia on maps.nokia.com are the old version with poor coverage, but routing between two countries works. So I'm guessing there's a problem with those new Bosnia maps.

I've also tried downloading Montenegro map which borders with Croatia and Bosnia. The same thing, can't find route to Bosnia

Unfortunately there's not a navigable map for Bosnia at the  moment, so you may not be able to find routes there. The current coverage status can be seen in the FAQ below:

thank you for your reply, but i cannot agree. routing IN bosnia works nicely and the maps are much more detailed than on the web.

Thanks, good to hear that the maps are working well even though some parts may not yet be fully navigable.

maybe some parts arent, but ive had no problem navigating in bosnia so far. can i expect a solution so i can navigate from croatia (or any other neighbouring country) to bosnia?

Unfortunately no details of the situation with Bosnia but there are regular updates coming for the map data, so it's worth updating when new versions become available. The latest map data version for N8 is 0.2.45.110 from Feb 2012. The coverage is the same as in the map data that was released in Dec 2011 but there are some corrections in the February release. The schedule for the next map data update is not yet known.

Yes i have the newest maps. I only hope that whoever is responsible for maps will get this info.

Hey pj98, can you please tell us when approximately map of the another neighboring country, Serbia, will be available?

Unfortunately I don't have the information when the next map update will be available and whether it has improvements for the Serbian map, but there are updates to the map data coming typically a few times a year. You can download the Serbian map already now via Map Loader but I guess the quality may not be good enough for full navigation support.

I can confirm that problem, only in oposite direction. Nokia maps doesnt navigate betveen Croatia and Bosnia, maybe because border. before it was OK.
