Hi. Does anyone know if the Nokia Sports Tracker works for Nokia E72?

I've installed it and it tracks fine and saves the workout in my Training Diary.

But, when I try to open th Training Diary the program shuts off.

When you downloaded it, you had to select your phone. Since the E72 is not on the list, which phone model did you select? As the E72 is a S60 3rd Ed FP2 phone, you should have selected N96 or E55. Other versions may not work properly.

I chosed the N96 -and it's 100% ok.

 I've installed the e55 version on a e72. It seems to work, even the step counter works in walking mode, but have to do some more testing.

and only when I connect my E72 to the internet the GPS signal is on  (green)

should it be lick that ?

Yes, thst is correct. The small gps icon should switch from amber to green when you phone obtains gps position fix.

You need not connect to Internet for getting the GPS Lock.... You can have the GPS working in Offline mode and with Integrated GPS only. But it will take much longer to get the initial fix with these settings.. Also you must be in an area open to sky ..

Can't post links for Nokia Software not hosted upon Nokia servers but searching for "SportsTracker_Nokia_S3_v_4_22_0_signed_112056.sis" should suffice here.

Have you logged-in at Nokia Store site ?

Also check whether its the same if you go to Nokia Store using the Phone Browser or the Nokia Store application on your phone ..
