Greyed roads in Nokia Maps 3.08

My C7 is using Nokia Maps 3.08 that came together in the recent Belle update. I understand that when the Live Traffic Information option is turned on, the coloured roads will turn grey if the Traffic Information is not available.

In my country, the Live Traffic Information is not available. I've turned off the option and restarted the Nokia Maps, but everytime I try to navigate somewhere, the roads will be greyed out (despite turning off the Live Traffic option). Would appreciate the solution to this
