Navigation requires that there is navigable map for the country. Navigable maps are currently available for the countries below (with map data version 0.2.46.103 or 0.1.29.100, May 2012).
(Note that if using Nokia Drive in Nokia Lumia phones, the initial Drive version in these phones doesn't yet support China even though there is navigable map for China.)
Current navigable maps as at September 2011:

I see Fiji is available on the PC version of Nokia Maps, but not apparently on the Mobile version. Is that the case or am I missing something ?

Hi, I bought the nokia 500 navigator 2 years ago and it came with a memory card with the maps and navigation, it is MU-39. I have misplaced the memory card rendering the device useless unless I find a new one. Is there anyway or any place I COULD FIND A NEW ONE TO BUY OR DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE ON AN EMPTY SD CARD. THANKS.

For the list of navigable countries for the latest map data version 0.2.45.109 and 0.1.28.106 (released in Dec 2011), please, see the FAQ below:
In which countries can I use navigation with Nokia Maps or Nokia Drive?
There are some new countries added as compared to the list above.

Having replied from Nokia Support that Nokia Drive still did not support for Lumia 800 of Hong Kong. Nokia Maps have been included China (including Hong Kong and Macau) since Jan 2012. Why did Nokia launch Lumia in Hong Kong but did not support this function?

I am planning a trip, Georgia, Turkey, Cyprus. Only to find out that Georgia is no available offline (but is in the online version of maps), and Cyprus is completely unavailalbe.
What use is navigation in a phone without the maps available? I'll look outside Nokia this year when renewing my phone.I doubted when buying the N8, but the camera and maps gave it the benefit of the doubt. But other phones have great camera's as well, and maps are not available... So what would be the USP?

By non-navigable country it means that there is not sufficient detail to navigate, although showing your position is not an issue.

I'm wondering why no offline map for Japan, South Korea and Israel...
For Japan and South Korea, these are hot tourist spots
