For Mac users unable to use Nokia Maploader for Mac here is how to merge index links provided by ovikovi
Unzip folders and drag respective folders to Documents as here
It is probably helpful to open this screenshot now
Create a New Folder in Documents ClientIndex
Open Terminal on Mac > Finder > Go > Utilities > Terminal
Type after $ prompt cd Documents <hit return>
Type after $ prompt cp -r Africa/* ClientIndex <hit return>
Repeat with index for other countries as in terminal screenshot
When finished drag ClientIndex folder to E:\CITIES\diskcache
This procedure also works for merging individual maps and is documented elsewhere on forum.
If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white kudos star would always be appreciated.

Create a New Folder in Documents WorldMaps
Open Terminal on Mac > Finder > Go > Utilities > Terminal
Type after $ prompt cd Documents <hit return>
Type after $ prompt cp -r 351/* WorldMaps <hit return>
Repeat with map for other countries/regions as in terminal screenshot advised to open before.
You now have WorldMaps folder with contents folders 0 - 9, a - f as here
On your Nokia device go to E:CITIES/diskcache and drag folders 0 - 9, a - f to trash and then copy respective folders from newly created WorldMaps 0 -9, a - f to E:\CITIES\diskcache.
Remember that you will also need to download respective continent indices to "ClientIndex" as detailed in previous post.
Although I have created a World Map this procedure can be used to combine any choice of decompressed country/region/state as required.

This is extremely useful Scoobyman - this means in future I will not need to use both my laptop and mac to install future maps - I just need to follow your instructions on my mac.
PS: Can u not make this into a sticky as I am sure many will ask the same question without searching the forum 1st?

Downloaded NorthCentral America but it was only the US and Canada? Not even Mexico? Should I assume that South America would include Central America and Mexico? Do you even know?
Thanks!

MEX = Mexico is within ClientIndex NorthCentralAmerica as you would expect, so don't know what link you have downloaded ClientIndexNCA

Oh man! I really just wish Map Loader would work. This stinks!
Anyway, I went through the difficulty of downloading the North/ Central America linky. I played with Terminal. I moved everything over to my phone. I did this all as instructed. Then I started to play with Maps on my phone and lo, there was no map of Mexico City, for example. I moved my map to where it should have been and just saw umber colored pixels!
I am really disappointed at the absolute lack of user friendliness in Maps and Nokia phones in general. I understand that you have to do SOMETHINGs to get what you want, but why am I playing in Terminal and messing around with folders on my phone? This is just not made for the end user.
And if Nokia expects me to have to go through all of these hoops to get a map on my phone (since Map Loader is completely useless at downloading a map of the USA) why is there no way for me to remove the silly bloatware that came with this phone? Now for THAT, I certainly wouldn't mind messing around with system files to clear out.
Nokia is making a grave error if they feel that all of this tomfoolery will help them retain and gain customers...

@TheRooster
Suggest that best to start without any maps and just install Mexico, although this may be the way you proceeded already.Presume that you are trying to install to Nokia 700, although you don't say whether to E:\ mass memory or F:\ card memory. Are you using Maps suite 2.0 upon 700?
You need this link Mexico for 00.02.46.103 series, decompress .zip and place the (16) folders 0 - 9 and a - f into either E:\cities\diskcache or F:\cities\diskcache
It is probably easier to start by deleting either E:\cities or F:\cities + .qf file, re-start Nokia Maps to re-create necessary folder structure and if you remove existing (empty) 0 - 9 and a - f and replace with those from decompressed Mexico .zip you won't have bother of using recursive option upon Mac.
Decompress ClientIndex NCA and place in Either E:\cities\diskcache\ClientIndex or F:\cities\diskcache\ClientIndex as appropriate or create ClientIndex folder if not present (note capitalisation for C & I).
