Still having problems downloading America and Europe but no problems with USA which is 1.69GB for compressed .zip!

When I updated maps on my C6-01 to 00.0.244.110 a few days ago, I noticed that map data on this release is more up to date than the web version of Nokia Maps. At least in Brazil, that's true, as I noted on the above mentioned topic.

Is that normal? I mean, one would normally expect that once the mobile maps database is updated, the web maps database would also be up to date.

Suggest that you use Indonesia as latest 00.02.44.110 is quite a bit larger in size so more detail!

Anyway, I've already download and then installing on my 5800 following the instructions described by ovikovi in another thread. I already tried for both version of map series (00.02.44.110 and 00.02.42.122) but nothing works.. It still asks for download the update map using wifi, remaining the same before installation..

Right now, I'm using the map version 0.2.44.110 as already shown in 'About'. That's confusing, the map is already detected, but doesn't work.

Is there any solutions then ? Why both version maps don't work at all on my device?

I don't know whether at some stage you deleted E:\cities + .qf file then re-opened Ovi Maps to re-create this folder structure, because if you then manually installed decompressed .zip in about it would show 0.0.0.0 for map version; although map data would be usable by application it would not be recorded here.

Something is definitely corrupted so If you have not done this yet, I suggest that you try installing Indonesia after carrying out above and see if this makes a difference.
