Hi
Just wanted to report an issue that happened today, that has never happened before using Windows Phone.
While using Nokia Drive 3 on my Lumia 900 (Rogers, International device, 8773 OS), along with the hilarious Surfer Dude voice (Can we PLEASE have more, comedic voices to add or buy on Drive... love it!), once I arrived at my destination I found the phone was frozen...
No physical or touch button would not work and I couldn't open Drives menu, or do anything on the phone. There was no way to reset the device. Lastly I removed the SIM, waited for a couple minutes then then inserted it again and the phone reset itself.
I'm not sure if this is the Drive app that caused the problem, or if it was the 900. I've had the inherant problems with my 900 such as the purple hue, camera taking photos darker than original, disappearing keyboard (this is Very annoying), or while typing for no apparent reason Microsoft TellMe pops up 'Listening...' Argh.
Does anyone know when Rogers will fully rollout the firmware update and OS update (8779) to all? This wait is getting very tiresome. Why is Tango etc being released granularly, after a successful Mango rollout?
Very frustrating and confusing. Sadly I purchased my international Rogers device (from Hong Kong) from Australia otherwise I would've attempted to try to get my phone checked or exchanged if possible.

A total OS freeze has happened to me once or twice during the (almost) two years I have had my Windows Phones. If it does not happen on a regular basis, there is no need to worry. If it should start occuring frequently, get in touch with your local Nokia Care Center and let them have a look at your device.
All updates have rolled out gradually in a random order so far adn there is nothing you can do to speed this up. Also note that you are on the update schedule for the carrier that originally branded your device. Microsoft has listened though and has mentioned that there will be a way to get updates early for new WP8 devices.

I have also had an issue with Nokia Drive 3.0 reporting that it lost the GPS signal and then freezing, or at least doing nothing more. I could still back out of the program, but I needed to reboot the phone to get Drive working again, only for it to lose the gps signal/crash again.
I did not have this problem earlier with Drive 2. I believe I had also used drive 3 once or twice with no issues, so I do not know what might have changed, except that I did change the speeds for the speed limit warnings. I previously had been using Drive completely offline, with data turned off on the phone, and now I was using it with data on. However, I did attempt to turn data back off and it still did not function properly. I am now trying to uninstall and reinstall the whole app. Unfortunately, that means reinstalling maps and favorites again.

Happens to me on a regular basis. I had to restart my Lumia 900 at least 5 times because of this now. Seems to happen about every third or fourth time I use Nokia Drive...

I'd just like to add my experience, which is similar to others.
3 times so far (after using Nokia Drive about 10 times) the application has completely crashed my Lumia 900. I'm with Orange in the UK, my phone is running 7.10.8773.98.
When it crashes, the screen freezes at the point of the crash. I have no option but to wait 10 minutes or so for the phone to reset itself. The crash has always happened within 30 minutes of starting the journey, but I can't say if that's significant or not.
A fix for this, or at least some information, would be REALLY appreciated.

I'd like to make a final comment -
I haven't had an issue since. Thanks
