I am waiting like forever for you to release maps for Israel and today I was happy to see that Israel is mapped in "Nokia Here" website...

 

So why on Nokia Maps app Israel still doesn't exist??

If you use Windows Phone 8 device with Nokia Maps "Online" Israel does exist!

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!

But if you use nokia maps in a Symbian (Nokia Belle) device - it doesn't.

 

Obviously, the mapping material exists.

I have Nokia 5800, Can I download Israel Maps?
I cant check it because when I try to install Ovi maps it says-"update fail" and I want to know if it worth to be fixed.

No, Nokia Maps upon Windows Phone 8 are from different series 8.0.48.113 to that used by Symbian devices.

A few years ago, after navteq has finished mapping Israel, Nokia has published that in a few months there will be Israel maps... never released till today.

 

So yes, I'm expecting Nokia to release Israel maps for Symbian, as they promissed!!
