Hi im facing a problem with installin the ovi maps.. yesterday i deleted the nokia maps from the application manager tab in the settings as an error kept coming asking to move or delete items from C: as memory was full.. i deleted the nokia maps alone cos of which 15 mb of free space was there in C:.. so i decided to update the ovi maps again but it kept on getting failed... i tried in the nokia ovi suite n the software updater as well by connecting the phone to my pc.. it says maps couldnt be installed as there is a missing dependency.. anyone else had this problem?? pls help me out with this!!

Download the Maps installer from here ...(click on Download in the last para under Instructions..)  and then install on your phone..

hi,

I have nokia 700

i have a different problem with nokia maps, by mistake i uninstalled the nokia maps and now when im trying to install again OTA, it says something went wrong and closes from ovi store. i tried opening the same in OVI suite and it says that the files / folders are broken.

can anyone guide me on this, i tried to format the mass storage and also did a hard reset, but nothing seems to work.

Can you please guide me with the same.

By carrying out "hard reset" you may have corrupted Qt dependencies which is why latest version of Ovi Maps for Symbian Belle v3.08_11wk41_b02 which is a SmartInstaller isn't functioning; if you either go to Applications > SW updates upon 700 or connect ot Nokia Suite upon PC do you not get offered any updates?

I am also facing the same problem,,,I am havinng Nokia 700. though I havent installed many software it was saying low memory,,donknow where all memory gone, ( I was saving all data( camera pic, everything on my memory card of 8 GB, and also not having any messages on phone). OK,,,so what I did is Factory restore, and phone said Restart, Once I restart the phone It was not starting,,at all..Nokia Welcome screen came and then full Blank,,nothing was appearing,,,so i shown this to repair center ( Not Nokia Center) and he repaired it. Now I don see mass memory in my phone and can not install a Nokia map Suit, I have memory card of 8 GB and 300 mb in phone memory. while Installing the Nokia map suit 1. via PC it say check date and time or no enough space, 2. Via mob . it says unble to install try again,,,

I hope I mentioned my point clearly,,please please help...I am way less without my Nokia Map,,,it is everything for me,,,
