I recently downloaded ovi maps 3.06 for Nokia X6 but after completing installation i opened it and noticed that the version was still the 3.04. I tried to unistall the "3.06" version from aplication manager but even after removed the icon still appears in the menu and opens the 3.04 version. How can i update this version or uninstall it in order to have the 3.06 version?

Welcome to the forum!

Whilst easy for me to say when keeping little data on device, provided that you backup essential data first you could always delete E:\Cities + .qf file and return X6 to "out of box" state by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lock code unless altered by yourself) and start again.
