Texas map not up to date

I was very surprised to find found out yesterday how old the map data on my N8 really is. I was driving through the eastern extension of the George Bush Turnpike (SH190) which according to NTTA opened to traffic in December 2011 but still did not show on my map! I have downloaded the latest Texas map just a few days ago.

How long does it take until the phone map data is updated after a major road addition like that? It has taken more than a year now... even Navteq web site shows the SH190 extension correctly.

App version v3.09 12wk09 b05

MW OpenGL MN

Map version 0.2.47.103

Release date 07.12.2012

I trust that you have filed a map error with Navteq?http://mapreporter.navteq.com/

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white kudos star would always be appreciated.

Re: Texas map not up to date

Yes I did report to Navteq but no response so far. Not sure if this is more of a Nokia issue or Navteq issue since the map that can be browsed on Navteq web site is up to date, just the Symbian version on my N8 is not.

Re: Texas map not up to date

Probably can expect further divergence between Symbian and Windows Phone 8 mapping now as time goes by with Israel being just one example where data available on the latter if application is running "Online".
