lumia 920 drive problem

My satnav only has a range of about 170 miles after that it wont even recognise the City such as Aberdeen or Bristol. After 3 weeks i have been sent a replacement hand set but it is the same. I have deleted the Drive app and reinstalled it plus the maps but same problem. I have driven 3 miles up on to moorland but same problem.
