nokia maps needs the functionality of waypoints. don't have this on my lumia 822 and i want it for hiking or just finding my car in a parking lot.  i would also like a seemless integration with geocaching.com so i can geocache right from my phone without a data connection.

Total newbie to the whole smartphone world.

As mentioned above in the last post, if i am understanding what waypoints are ( "pining" a point on the map )  then i have to agree.

My Lumia 822 (Verizon version ) came with "Nokia Maps", nice mapping but not able to  "pin" my location while, hunting, wandering ect ect.

Is it possible ? I know I am new to smartphones, but i cant seem to figure it out and you would THINK you would be able to "pin" the map.

If it is not possible....can anyone recomend a good "pinable" map app ?
