Dear all Nokia users,

If we forget to unplug charger when the battery full, let it charged for more than 2 hours, 3 hours or more, will this decreases battery life? I'd ever read that adviced unplug charger when battery full.

Hi classic_sis,

This shouldn't affect the battery too much because once the charger is unplugged, the phone will start using the power from the battery, but leaving it in will keep battery charged whilst using power from the socket.

In saying this, I wouldn't leave it charged on full battery for long periods of time because the battery may heat up.

haZey, do you mean over charge is not good idea? I had ever over charged my Nokia because of sleep, forget to unplug it. I just worry the life battery will be decreased.

I'd ever heard that using phone while charging it will make the battery big (like a fish that can make its body to big to protect itself), is that true?

I would recommend you to use the phone as usual in the day and when you are about to sleep, leave the phone plugged in till you wake up. 

I cannot however comment on it making the battery big, but when you are using the device in the day and you have a good percentage of battery, I wouldn't leave it on charge because of possible heat issues.

Thank you for your reply. I usually watch my Nokia when is being charged. When the battery is full, unplug from the socket. Leave it over charge is not good idea I think.
